To Goanet - There are reports out that hundreds of illegal permissions have been issued to fishing trawlers in Gujarat and Maharashtra, and that these are populated by illegal Bangladeshis. The threat of RDX and other explosives being smuggled in on these trawlers have lead to concerns being aired by the Fishermen Union.
We need to account for every single employee on the Goan fishing trawlers for they employ ghatis and almost certainly, Bangladesis. The slums that have recently taken root in Goa are also a breeding ground for a toxic brew wrought by the migrant hordes. There is little chance that anything of substance will ever be done. For the venality and wretchedness of Goa's political class, and indeed of Goan society that specializes only in bluster, will trump everything else.
