I got this paste-n-cut from a newspaper:
"The SP, however, told the PWD minister that the arrests have been effected
upon clear instructions from the Inspector General of Police as the arrested
activists were allegedly involved in stopping coaches of tour operators"
Only in Goa would rowdy taxi-drivers bent on stopping private tour coaches be
called "activists."
In a related news item, my daughter refused to go to nursery, calling on all
child activists to ban nursery. She is currently in negotiation with the
Opposition party in the house to see if she can muster support for her cause.
The Ruling party is keeping mum :-))
