Ferry Trip from Cavelossim to Assolna <http://www.reviewgoa.com/?p=426>
If one is staying in Mobor or Cavelossim the best way to get to Assolna is via the ferry. Just as one has crossed the Cavelossim church square there is a small road which turns left, exactly opposite the Asro community centre for AIDS patients. As one goes on the narrow winding road, there are a lot of houses in the village, and then one is greeted with a wide expanse of paddy fields. The fields are green in the rainy season and turn a wonderful golden colour just before the harvest season. Come summer and you'll find a lot of children playing football in the fields.
