Dear Goans,
I happened to visit Dr. Anita Kamath Dudhane - MD Ph.D - Allergist &
Immunologist, at her clinic at Kamat Complex, Caranzalem, for the reason of
checking out my grandson for possible allergies. Dr. Anita is a U.S. return
and is doing very well. Normally I do not open up to first time
acquaintances, more specifically professionals like Dr. Anita, unless there
is a cue to do so. In this case, I had quite an exchange with her as she was
explaining the possible allergies sensitive youngsters like my 4 year old
grandson could pick up in a place like Goa, with its untreated garbage lying
everywhere and anywhere etc. As an opener, as soon as I entered her clinic,
I spotted a plaque hanging on the wall with quite a bit of a write-up.
Curiosity took me closer to it and I not only read it, but borrowed a paper
from the assistant and copied it down. When I met the good Dr. Anita, I
introduced myself to her and handed over to her my GSRP visiting card face
down on which I had written thus: "I am taken up by the "Paradox of our Age"
plaque hanging on your wall and I shall want to use it effectively". And
then, when she turned the card, OH! she said. I know Goa Su-Raj and I know
Dr. Dhume.
She tells me that she wanted to settle down in Goa, that she loves it like
any other Goan will love Goa, that she wanted to give back to her country
and to her motherland Goa. But she says that her husband has decided that
there is no future for them in Goa, especially because they cannot see Goa's
politics of destruction abating unless Goa is destroyed totally and
completely and that he has given her 4 years before they return back lock
stock and barrel to U.S. and Denver/Colorado. The interesting thing is that
she tells me that she wanted to start a training centre at the GMC,
immunology, as she practices it being a new subject and very effective. But
she is facing a dead wall there as there is absolutely no co-operation given
to her. Instead, she says she has started classes free of cost at GMC on her
own and that it is the best thing that she can do.
When I told her that she should review her decision to leave Goa for Good,
especially because there is GSRP which can and will turn Goa's governance
around 180 degrees in a short span of time, she was very skeptical. I give
it to you, she says, that you people are sincere, but once any political
party comes to power, the power goes to its head. She gave me quiet an
example of the BJP and Manohar Parrikar to shut me up venturing further. All
I could tell her is that GSRP is built differently and have promised to
give her the Party's Road Map for Goa and its Constitution to go through so
that she understands that GSRP mean business with the Party always
positioning itself between the people and its government, where the
government will be the Party's driver to take it wherever it wants to go as
according to the wishes of the people.
She smiled a sweet smile and said "we shall see"
btw: Dr. Anita tests for all of 22 allergies (Foods & funguses) on the
forearms within a span of an hour. Her charges are, as expected, quite steep
too. I have invested in Dr. Anita because of the proven results elsewhere in
the family with chronic problems.

MORE MEDICINE BUT LESS HEALTHINESS.
WE HAVE BEEN ALL THE WAY TO THE MOON AND BACK BUT HAVE TROUBLE CROSSING THE
STREET TO MEET WITH OUR NEW NEIGHBOUR.
WE BUILT MORE COMPUTERS TO HOLD MORE INFORMATION TO PRODUCE MORE COPIES THAN
EVER, BUT HAVE LESS COMMUNICATION.
WE HAVE BECOME LONG ON QUANTITY BUT SHORT ON QUALITY.
THESE ARE TIMES OF FAST FOODS AND SLOW DIGESTION,
OF TALL MEN AND SHORT CHARACTERS,
OF STEEP PROFITS AND SHALLOW RELATIONSHIPS.
IT IS TIME WHEN THERE IS MUCH IN THE WINDOWS AND NOTHING IN THE ROOM.
