The world also stands by as Israel continues its illegal occupation of
Palestine and the suppression of its people. Honestly, were any of these crimes
reported or commented on as the Mumbai or New York attacks were? I think all of
us only voice our concern when our own community becomes the target of
terrorism.

Mario observes:

Talk about selective indignation, not to mention revisionist history.

The facts are that it is Israel that has been under threat of extinction by the
radical Palestinians and other Arabs ever since the area was partitioned as
part of a two-state homeland for Jews and Palestinians in 1947 by the Brits and
ratified by the UN.

Unlike India and Pakistan which accepted the similar partition of the Indian
sub-continent, which was just as "fair" or "unfair" depending on one's point of
view, the Arabs have never accepted their partition. Neither did they attempt
to negotiate their differences peacefully through the UN, but immediately tried
to take the law into their own hands when five Arab armies invaded the nascent
Israel with the goal of "pushing the Jews into the sea". This was similar to
the Pakistanis invading Kashmir in order to annex it by force instead of
waiting for the results of the plebiscite that had been planned as part of the
partition to solve the Kashmiri dilemma.

The attempts by most of the the Arabs and Iran to wipe Israel off the map
continues to this day. The founding charters of the most powerful radical
Palestinian organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad all contain
the elimination of Israel as an objective, and the maps used by these radical
Arabs do not even show Israel.
