It is good for India if the courts are intervening in matters where the 
Government does
not act. For too long, the Judiciary in India was silent and the tool of the 
Government
in power. I guess, good laws and their proper implementation will not force the 
hand of
the Judiciary. PILs have helped in highlighting the plight of the common man.
 
Of course, one hears a lot of horror stories in India, about how many judges 
are 
hand in glove with the politicians and how legal cases are influenced by 
political pressures.
 
Did some judge perhaps not "listen" to Mr. Shantaram Naik, that he is now making
these accusations?
