What is all the ruckus about Sonal Shah having been a member of the VHP ? I
confess that I do not know much about the VHP and all the nuances of Hindutva.
But I dont have a problem if oen wants to profess his love for his religion by
joining such groups, as long as it
does not advocate the discrimination of other religions or advocate violence
against those of
other faiths. Christians have their religious organizations, none of which
advocate violence, but rather solidarity with people of their own faith. Let
us respect each others faith or lack of religious beliefs.
