Pundalik spits venom out of frustration
His term is ending , and he is reluctant to leave.
He wants one more term , and he knows he wont get it.
So what does he do ? He spits venom out of frustration.
He attempts to show his might, to the same person to whom he went begging for a
post.
He issues a strong warning to the Chief Minister of Goa, ie. the same Chief
Minister, to whom he buttered till he got his works done.
That in short, describes Mr Pundalik Naik, the outgoing President of the
Government of Goas, Goa Konkani Akademi.
He once got a ready platform of the Konkani Porjecho Avaz, today he has to
search for platforms.
He ditched the very Konkani people who placed their trust in him, today nobody
trusts him.
Thousands from the minority communities listened to him at K.P.A meetings then
, today no one listens to him .
Not even 2 people, from the majority community.
So, what does he do? He usurps somebody elses function and uses it for his own
propaganda.
He politicizes a non-political function of, Jnanpith Award winner Ravindra-bab
Kelekar.
That in short, describes Pundalik Naik, the outgoing President of Government of
Goas, Goa Konkani Akademi.
The protagonists of Roman Script for Konkani , keeping aside the Script-issue
temporarily, have all congratulated Ravindra-bab Kelekar, for his being
awarded the Jnanpith Award. They have been so magnanimous.
And what is Mr Pundalik Naiks reaction to that ?
He calls them separatists & terrorists.
Is this not spitting venom out of frustration?
Yes it is. Frustration comes, when one realizes he is fighting a losing battle.
