Dears, The so-called Konkani stalwart, who is alleged to be solidly behind the movement for recognition of Konkani in the Roman script on par with Devanagri script in the state of Goa [as Devanagri is on par with Kannada script for education in the state of Karnataka], today flogged a dead horse by attacking the former Independent MLA of Margao and current Chairman of the "Think Tank" of the Congress party that is steadfastly denying recognition for Konkani even on par with Marathi.
He could, however, not assure the protagonists of Roman script for Konkani that one among them would be made the President of the Goa Konkani Akademi. The grapevine has it that Mr. N. Shivdas has been cleared by the Ministry of Official Language for the post of GKA President. The stalwarts of Roman Script will be accommodated/rehabilitated in the yet-to-be-launched Tiatrist Akademi. This is the new Tiatok ...or natok of the tiatr!!
