Dear Miguel,
Like I said I have a very long memory. Just a few months ago, you were
needlessly being accused of being insensitive to Hindu religious sensibilities.
You were called upon to apologise. I rallied to your defence then just as I
must rally to Samir's defence now.
Even I who am communally hyper-sensitive could see that Samir was expressing
impatience with the longevity of the subject. He didn't mean to offend anyone,
lest of all Christians and I do believe in this instance he used the term
colloquially.
