politician bashing, sms messaging, Facebook emailing, group marching and candle

Mario observes:
No amount of soul searching would have prevented the Mumbai Massacre because it
was carried out by suicidal Pakistani terrorists. The Pakistan government
refers to them as non-state-actors, and apparently the Indian government has
been unable to provide any evidence connecting them to the Pakistan government,
in spite of public assertions that they "must be".
This article is a cynical piece apparently by a columnist who exploits
socialites for a living, by bashing them. Life is always grand for socialites
- which is why they are called socialites:-)) I have no problem with what they
choose to do as long as they are using their own money and keep out of my way
or impede anyone else's activities.
What I would like to know is what the Indian authorities are doing to bring
their security systems up to world standards.
1. Are the Black Cats being deployed around the country?
2. Are local police departments in major cities adding SWAT teams?
3. Are the intel procedures being improved?
3. Are the security specialists being provided with custom fitted bullet proof
vests, night vision goggles, communications intercepting and jamming equipment,
bullet proof vehicles, specialized training, etc.?
If someone has any information on such isssues I, for one, would like to know.
