I suspect some deceit in the Goa Governments Call to Special Status. It was
reported in the media almost 6 months back; that a presentation was to be
done to the Centre on Special Status.. what may I ask has happened since
then? Can I request the Government & the opposition to come out very clearly
on the latter; so that the whole exercise can be transparent to Goans? I
think Special Status to Goa must include concrete measures to Preserve Goa &
Its identity e.g. banning of all land sales to non-goans, Controls of
migrant influx with time bound restrictions on their voting rights etc.
