I would thank Oscar for bringing the "image" issue to the attention of Spice-Jet
management, but I find his use of the the line "Did these clothes....... entry 
in
Goa?" unnecessary. It does not have relevance to the point of argument. 
Obviously,
the editorial board of the airliner erred and, hence, the management issued an
apology, though delayed because of the attitude of the editor in accepting her 
fault
instead of justifying it.
"Invasion" or "liberation" has NOTHING to do with the issue.  I have seen Goa
government tourist brochures with "white" people on Goan beaches with no 
"locals" (I
am deliberately not using the word "Goan") in the photos.
In Spice-Jet case, the image is from Getty. Probably the editor or someone on 
the
editorial desk made a wrong choice in selecting the image from the image bank.
