CHRISTIAN LEGAL ASSOCIATION
[CLA]
CLA is a network of Christian lawyers to serve the
Christian / Catholic community at large in Mumbai and Western India. It is also
connected to 600 lawyers in India and also the global Christian lawyers. Robin
Davis (Partner of Dua Associates, New Delhi) started this association by
sharing the activities of CLA in India and its affiliation to global lawyers.
CLA plans for a short and long term plan to ensure peace, relief and justice at
the place of persecution especially Orissa. It also aims at several solutions
such as Networking, training, knowledge sharing, capacity building, legal jobs
and forum.
The first and second lawyers meet was held at YMCA,
Mumbai Central which was a grand success. The next meet will be held at New
Bombay on the 27th March 2009 at 9:30am sharp. Details of the meeting would be
given later.
May I count on you to help me spread the word around to people who have done
their law or doing their law from different streams in life – RBI, SEBI, IDBI,
Mantralaya, Family court, Motor Accident tribunal, law students, law firms,
Manager Legal or Head legal, or Legal Process Outsourcing companies (LPO) who

Maharashtra – Pune, Nagpur etc. and other districts.
