The world and all Goanetters will join Americans in welcoming Mr. Barack Obama
as the New President of the USA; and in wishing him and his cabinet all the
best and every success.  Most newspapers around the world will carry stories of
the inauguration of the 44th President.  The purpose of this post is to bring
some tit-bits of interesting news that may not make it in the international
press.

The cabinet choices have been exclaimed as excellent. Well as one would expect,
there were a few exceptions. Like the sole dissenter among both Democrats and
Republicans was a senator David Vitter.  His sole claim to fame, before this
vote against Hillary Clinton, was his celebrated connection to and service from
Washington Madams (aka hookers).  As an aside, a famed goanetter is not a great
fan of Hillary Clinton either.

A newspaper in Mississippi on the eve of Martin Luther King Holiday and
President Obama's inauguration finally apologized to its Black readers and the
world, for its biased reporting during and prior to the Civil Rights struggle.

Neglect' During Civil Rights Struggle"

The crowds have been overflowing in Washington DC. For security reasons the
roads in the Capital are blocked for the next few days..  Many reporters, from
around the country, who came to report on the inauguration for their hometown
newspaper, rented reporter's desk space from the Washington based media.  They
will use the same space for their sleeping bags (and beer) in a likely largest
giant overnight sleepover of working adults in the world.

There are increasing calls to investigate the workings of the outgoing
President.  Mr. Obama has not shown interest in the same. Some believe only if
the truth is unearthed, will the country and history books finally know if
crimes were committed, the constitution usurped or if President Bush was merely
"misunderestimated".  Currently there is a poll being conducted, on the
readers' choice of the ten worst failings of the Bush administration. See:
