GCCI Centenary Cup(Talent Search All-Goa Table Tennis Tournament)
The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a Talent Search
All Goa Table Tennis Tournament from 30th Jan to 1st Feb 2009, in
joint association with the Panjim Table Tennis Club.
The Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1908 and
is celebrating its Centenary this year. GCCI is the apex body
representing trade, commerce and industry in Goa. Right from its
inception, the Chamber has been at the forefront of leading commercial
and industrial development in the State.
In recent years, the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken up
a number of initiatives for making a positive environment in the
State and is now looking at supporting different sporting
talents by sponsoring sporting events and would make
scholarships available from industrial houses to deserving
sports persons.
The Table Tennis Tournament shall be held in the Indoor Stadium at
Campal, Panaji and shall be held in the following categories: Under
10, Under 12 and Under 14 categories in boys and girls, for
non-ranking and non-seeded players.
