This is an excellent and comprehensive article by Venita Coelho. I've always
been on the fence about the mining issue in Goa, because being the capitalist
lackey that I am, I always have a bias towards industry but this article puts
into perspective the destructive nature of monster that has become mining, for
very little gain.
