Sabdeep Heble: All fundamentalists are basically birds of the same feather. They have zilch love for humanity. Remove their mask and you won't be able totell one from the other. While Marshall has reproduced only those paras that suit his convenience and show one side of the picture, I shall reproduce below the other paras to make the picture complete.
Response: 1. What was reproduced were only important extracts. The link to the article was provided for the reader to read the entire article. There is nothing one-sided as he seems to believe. 2. Sandeep in his zeal to paint me as partisan has missed the wood for the trees. In fact he seems to be overjoyed while catching the mouse while missing the elephant which is causing all the destruction. 3. It is a fact that fundamentalism of all types exist. The question is of degrees. Which type of fundamentalism is posing the greatest danger to society. Why are incidents like Gujarat, Orissa and now Karnataka happening and recurring again and again. Why is the state passive? And that is what we all should be debating about if we all want peace and tranquility in this country and secularism to succeed. It is only when all raise their voices against acts of hate and violence and condemn them that the message will go to these forces that civil society will not accept such deviant behaviour. Regards, Marshall
