PRISON MINISTRY - MUMBAI 2009 My dear Friends,
Please forward Please help Ms. Bernadette Pimenta, a friend of mine, who is actively involved in the Prison Ministry, right here in Mumbai. She is doing some really great, amazing work with prisoners, especially women and children lodged in our jails, right here in Mumbai and Pune. She requires the following :- (1) Undergarments, (including pink chuddies), clothes, toys, sweets, shoes, slippers for children aged 0 to 5 yrs, for 70 children, lodged with their mothers in jail. (2) Required - Doctors residing at Kalyan , Taloja , Byculla to help conduct Free medical check-up camps in Gynaec/skin/ENT/Dental/Paediatrics at the prisons situated there. (3) Personnel to conduct Christian meditation in English, Hindi and Marathi, in the jails of Maharashtra. Bernadette also informed me that she has successfully implemented a 6-month beautician course, with certificate, for women in one of the jails in Maharashtra.
