Most of these Association have not renewed its registration and are called as unregistered bodies. Only Govt. can renew its registration by special resolution in the assembly. Those who want to do long term contrat for promoting any sports dicipline are not willing to sign a contract with unregistered body. These is one of the basic drawback of funds not reaching to sports person in Goa. As per Goa Societies registration act 1995 every organisation should renew its registration once in 3 years.
