MLA's in Asseblly only to fill pockets
Anil Salgaocar an independent Candidate in the Goa Legislative Assembly said, that the Assembly has become a market place and MLA's come to the "house" only to fill their pockets. Is any one shocked with this apt disclosure ? Is this something new that we know off ? It's all common knowledge, the only strange thing is, it's one of the "40 undesirables" who is singing like a canary. It least he has what it takes to say, that the Assembly is full of luminaries who would do anything and everything to lay their hand on as much money as possible and any which way. Your efforts are appreciated Mr. Anil Salgaocar. I think the Governor has to take a serious note of this accusation and set up an independent inquiry and take the guilty to task. Now the million dollar question is, is Mr. Anil Salgaocar as clean as he portrays himself to be ? Is he really interested in the welfare of the common man or the problems of the common man ? As a miner he needs support from the Government to carry on his mining and devastate the Goan ecology even further and for his silver pieces the rest of the echelons, are willing to tolerate his outbursts. What has Mr. Anil Salgaocar done since his election to the Assembly ? He has skeletons in his closet too, the big one being "the mermaid" that's half buried itself of the coast of Candolim endangering marine and human life in that area for the last decade or so. Can the Government dare take action ? A couple of weeks back a MLA from the ruling party took to the streets, got himself arrested while protesting against this "mermaid" of the coast of his constituency, what happened there after ? What action has the Congress Party taken ? Why hasn't Mr. Anil Salgaocar been held responsible and accountable for this disaster ? Will this "mermaid" be ever taken out of the sea ? The blame game and the outbursts are all just acts to misguide us. "Zor rodta mejek" Mr. Anil Salgaocar, himself has so vibrantly expressed his views on the character and substance of the elite members of our Legislative Assembly. It's is indeed very unfortunate that the Assembly is full of "freeloaders" and "con-artists". Wake up Goa and Goans, and stay awake to avert the doom that's to befall us if we don't.
