To Goanet -

Published in today's Herald under "Letters."

The brazen attempt by the Goa govt to upend the order
of the Supreme Court concerning a hotel in Dona Paula
must be roundly condemned. CM Digambar Kamat's
stated motive of saving jobs is utterly bogus and
is a transparent attempt at helping his rich
miner-industrialist friend subvert the law of
the land.

My question to Goans is: what will it take for you
to arise from your slumber and confront the scourge
of venal politicians, miners, land sharks, & builders
all aided by a corrupt bureaucracy that is determined
to decimate Goa?
