For weeks since the release of Slumdog and now winner of 8 Oscars a few men on board Goanet are drooling over Freida from Mangalore. In the meantime some of us may not know that we have Catarina Furtado of Goan parentage (vehemently claimed by her) who is an actress, poet, dancer, tv presenter (RTP) and UN representative. She is based in Portugal. Somehow, none of these Goan emigrants to Karnataka have won any world class beauty contests like Goans whose ancestors stayed in Goa, like Iona Pinto and Rita Faria. Then we see you claim that someone named Catarina Furtado is second only to someone named Selma Cardoso with the non-existent title of editor in chief of Goanet. You have posted a Wikipedia page in some obscure foreign language with no pictures.
