Hi to goanetters all,
A famous Aussie Song recently sung at the Memorial Service for Victorian
(Aussie) Firestorm victims; a patriotic meaningful song, drew spontaneous
Standing Ovation, right from the start, from the huge crowd assembled at the
National Tennis center in Melbourne.
There were people from many religious and ethnic Migrant communities,
attending, and doing their part in grief!
This Song is so powerful, that I have thought of reproducing some of it here,
with an Indian orientation. I forget all the words. May be Ruby Goes can help.
Here it goes:
I am, You are, We are all Indians!
We are ONE, but we are Many, from many cultures and Languages, we come;
We are Hindu, we are Buddhists, we are Christian, we are Muslims, we are
Atheists, we are Agnostics, or plain foolish? But we are INDIAN.
Respect and Tolerance for each other we have! For We are Indians.
Together WE CAN build a Future India, Strong and Respected the World over!
Together WE WILL have this India, for ourselves and for our future generations.
We as Indians 'WILL' starting now, push and shove all the Divisive and Communal
Forces, off the Map of India.
Our India has no place for such EVIL persons and Groups.
Truth Must Prevail and India will RISE as ONE!

Will someone plead with the Election Commission, that anyone who cannot take an
Oath on the above lines, is not Indian, and stands 'Ultra Vires' of the
'Constitution of India'; and as such should be barred from contesting an
Election at all levels!
If the Election Commission can not do it; then an 'Ordinance' should be
promulgated to bring the same into effect as soon as possible; I plead with the
Prime Minister in this regard. After all Govts. in India are very conversant
with this type of promulgation and resort to it ever so often.
I plead with the President of India to consider and execute this into Law and
enforce the same.
Surely she has the Unity and Equal Well being of ALL INDIANS at heart.
