In a debate on Muslim appeasement, and Marhsall's comment(s) about Karnatak government giving money to the temples, I think Marshall has to explain important point as to which is the charge per unit of Rs 16 (refer subject line). Marshall can read the link provided here below as well as all my messages. He has no justifiable and defensible answers to my questions..but he still trays to remain in net. yet trying to run around bushes! Marshall, it's not necessary to show your presence in Goanet as Goan .. which I suspect. and if you are true Goan you need not respond to ever mail which does not matter much to GOA . and that's what Goanet is for. The KeralaState Electricity Board is charging Rs. 16/- per unit in Sannidhanam, where as the normal rate is around Rs 4/-. The TDB has to foot a bill of Rs. 75 lakhs for the police service; the Kerala water Authority charges around Rs. 40 lakhs. The Health department bill is around Rs. 55 lakhs for every season.The Dewaswom even has to pay around Rs. 25 lakhs to the sanitation society headed by the district collector for the cleaning work. Though Hindu organisations under Hindu Aikya Vedi had protested against this several times alternative Government's were turning a deaf ear towards it. Now Thanks to Devaswom Ombudsman who was appointed as a result of devotees and Hindu organisations plea in High Court came forward to fight against this grave injustice to Hindu Society. Devaswom Ombudsman Shri R Bhaskaran submitted a report in High court seeking subsidised Electricity for SabarimalaTemple. Under the current available provisions Government should give 40% Subsidy to Temples. He also recommended to change Sabarimala from Low Tension-7 A group to Low Tension 6 A group. Even after all these looting, Ministers like Sudhagaran says, "It's all the charity by Government towards Hindus"! Unless Hindu Soceity in the state come forward to question such malpractices by vested interests, Our Temples will remain as Milch Cows for the Pseudoseculars who rules us.
