The kind of money that Goa govt. is spending on things such as e-governance,
at least 100 jobs can be created out of them, if not more. The only
condition Goa govt. has to put is that this software has to be developed
by companies based in Goa and which employ Goans. In other words, Goans have to
write this
software. A company that initially gets such a few projects from the Goa
govt. can then expand into the rest of India's and even international markets.
This will kill two birds in one stone; Goa govt's e-governance needs will
be satisifed, and jobs will be created.
However, Goa Govt's strategy is to source these and other products from
the highest cut giver!
This is the disastrous mode in which Goa Govt is working, and then we
complain that Goans are leaving Goa.
