While I have no objections to this suggestion, the practical problem is the lack of transparency. There is no one to audit if I have: 1) Counted all the points correctly 2) advertently not included some entries. It is for this reason that I want to put all the nominated posts up for voting. Everyone can see that the post they nominated is up for voting and all can vote accordingly. I am assuming here that the number of votes will be tallied electronically. Lastly, I have no problems modifying this method in the future. For now folks, keep those nominations rolling in.
