Inexpensive transfer from the airports to the cities is available almost
everywhere in Europe and other countries. I personally know that a lot of
people in north Goa do not travel by plane because of the high taxi rates (a
train or bus ticket from Mumbai of Mapusa costs almost as much as taxi from
a/port to Mapusa. But no....we have to bow down to the strong taxi lobby..
