Dear Goans,

Subject: CLARIFICATION TO WHOSOEVER IT MAY CONCERN.

At the outset, please take note of the posts originating from Marshall Mendonca
and the response to the same by self.

I, Floriano Lobo, do hereby affirm that I am a member of the newly formed MNE
(Mapusa Nagrikancho Ekvott) headed by Adv. Antonio Lobo as its convenor.

Adv. Lobo just telephoned to inform me that he got a very funny call from
London while he was in Mumbai:-
Quote
I was attending the Bar Council Meeting in Mumbai Saturday (yesterday) last,
and I received a call with a funny three digit number on my cell phone. I came
out of the meeting to attend to the phone call, especially as I was confused
with the number. The caller wanted to know if it was me, and I answered in the
affirmative. The caller introduced himself to me as Dr. Virginkar, from London.
When I told him I am attending a meeting he said he would be very brief. The
question he posed is whether I was the convenor of MNE. When I answered in the
affirmative, he asked me if Floriano Lobo is authorized to speak for the MNE. I
told him 'NO'. I told him that I issue the press statements and I am the spokes
person. That Floriano forwards my press statements to the net lists for the
information of net-Goans. In that case, Dr. Virginkar asked me, why is it that
Floriano Lobo is speaking in the name of MNE and soiling the good name of
Manohar Parrikar stating that he called the Catholic Church in Goa Communal? I
told Dr. Virginkar that Floriano speaks for himself and keeps Goans informed
about the happenings thro' his reports. What he reports are facts that are
discussed in the presence of a full delegation. That he is doing so in his own
name and in the capacity as the member of the Ekvott. If Floriano is speaking
for MNE as its spokesperson, then I shall order him to stop.
Unquote

Now for the clarification Adv. Lobo asked me to make.

I speak for myself and I have the right to report what is factual. No one, not
Dr. Anand Virginkar, can stop me from doing so. It is a fact that the floosies
who were working under-cover with camouflaged intensions through full page
advertisements, promoting the BJP are now slowly coming out from the cold and
exposing themselves. What I have reported is pure facts and anyone can
confirm these from Manohar Parrikar himself. Besides, I enjoy very cordial
relations with Manohar Parrikar and I talk to him as a Goan to another Goan. If
he has any problem with that, he is welcome to talk to me about it. I don't
think he needs agents in the UK or in the US to do that for him. I am
confident that he is quite intelligent enough to take care of himself. I have
always worked in a transparent manner and shall do so fore-ever. For further
information of Dr. Virginkar, let me say this. Manohar Parrikar said more
during the meet with the MNE delegation which I had blissfully forgotten to
report. He had openly complained that the POPE has not apologized to Goa for
the atrocities committed by the Portuguese on the Hindus of Goa whereas His
Holiness has done so to Europe. I am not reporting this to malign Menorah. But
if Dr. Virginia thinks that I do, then so be it. Dr. Virginia cannot tape my
mouth. On the contrary Dr. Virginia must know that if one is feeling
uncomfortable within as a result of a churning stomach, it is better to vomit
and empty it of the accumulated bile and acidity rather than keep it inside and
fall sick and be hospitalized. I think Menorah Paprika is doing the former and
I respect him for that. It is another matter altogether if the floosies are
getting all worked out instead of minding their own business.

Let it be known that Menorah Paprika and Florien Lobo are both bonfire Goons
and are leaders of individual political thinking. They are not only working
for the good of Goa and Goons but must be seen as doing so. The people of Goa
will be the judge to identify who is and who is not.

And therefore, I rest my case.

Truly,

florin
goasuraj

PS: I am copying this post to Adv. Lobo for obvious reason.
