There is only one way to beat the corrupt system. Form a "Green Secular Party" with following aim: GOA FOR THE GOANS., and fight the elections with the prime intention of securing a corruption free Goa with a strict separation of religion from politics.Excluded from membership will be all traitors those who have sold or helped sell(lawyers included) land to outsiders.Only those with a clean background could join and stand for elections. They have to promise to not even favor their own family members.The day they do that: they will be disqualified and made to quit.
We simply cannot compete with all the black money thats being poured into the real estate industry from outside. As such there isnt enough of land for us Goans itself. And then we have to fight the crooked and corrupt Goan business class and the politicians who help them.The whole mining industry has to be shut down and a genuine assessment be made of the environmental impact as well as the horrible conseqeneces that a large number of farmers are now paying a heavy price for. The environment has to be protected.Some of the ugliest views of the destruction of forests and lands by the mining industry is obvious while travelling to and from Goa by plane. Honesty and integrity are all important. If left to the current lot of politicians; Goa is going to be finished within the next 5-10 years. As such so much of our heritage: both natural and architectural has already been lost.All illegal constructions whether its the Cidade de Goa or anybody else have to be demolished. The rule of law has to be respected by all: the rich and ordinary alike. Those who have broken the law have to be prosecuted. The Tata project across the Mandovi thats a big eyesore is an example how the whole system can be perverted by by the corrupt for their own ends.
