Panjim Shigmo Parade (The floats, Dances & Individuals) As said, the Shigmo float parade stats with Romtamel, Folk dances and Individuals (Fancy dress) all these putting together can take up to 2hrs e.g. At Panjim, there were about 30 folk dances, 8 romtamel groups and about 18 fancy dress individual.
Groups are mostly from Ponda taluka. One single group could mean half of the village as there were up to 500 participants in a gorup. The above group catagory usually followed by the Main floats. At panjim there were about 40 floats.
