Today we had lunch at J-3-A Restaurant (hope I got it right), Utorda (near Majorda).
First time we visited here June/July last year and since then we may have visited about 12 times. It is Husband and wife run restaurant where husband the owner comes to take your order. One of the reasons I go there is for my favourite prawns (see pic). I find them not only fresh but cheaper too (Rs.90, same quantity else would be 110/120 yet may not come with fresh quality. The restaurant has open air space too. Directions: (Location: Firguembhat?, near Utorda Mollar) After Mollar junction, take road towards Majorda, at the sharp turn, leave the first road to your right (which I think goes to Kenelworth etc) and follow the next road (right again) which will end at J-3-A. At this restaurant (&Bar), you get almost everything. Fish Kingifsh, Chonnak, Moddso but sadely no smaller fish like Pellio, vel’lio, lepo, tal’le. They serve Chicken products too like Tandoori, chilly fry, xacuti etc. Tandoori rotti or naam also served. Pork/Beef items too are available like Liver, Roast tongue, Ozri, sorpotel, cheurisam, chilly fry, salted pork, beef cutlets etc etc. Ok, what we ate today and what it cost us? We were 4 1 bot Royal Stag 210 2 bot water 30 3 bot Limca 45 5 soda 40 1 green salad 15 1 tongue Rost 75 1 Salted Pork 75 2 plates prawns plain fry 190 (see pic) rate increased by 5 1 plate Liver 40 4 Prawns curry rice 200 (see pic) rice (boiled) and curry served in large bowls Total : 920 Left over of 1/4th of RS bot taken home. This is because one of the 4 is fasting during the lent (I mean no alcohol, had 3 limca instead). See, you guys at least know now what I do here is not commercial or paid publicity. We go to any restaurant for the food, good quality food and we simply don’t care about the other things ( except good service, price tag etc) If you happen to visit here or another restaurant featured here before, please let me also know (pvt or thru public forums) about your opinion good or bad.
