More than 600 people were arrested in connection with the violence that left over 40 people dead in Kandhmal last year. Pradhan in his 30s, described as a "prize catch" by cops was picked up from a Berhampur lodge on Oct 15. Pradhan was the field commander who allegedly led mobs at various places.
