SUMMER COURSE ON VERMICOMPOSTING AND ORGANIC FARMING AND HORTICULTURE
The Department of Botany, St. Xavier's College of Arts, Science & Commerce,
Mapusa,
is organizing the following:-
(1) A talk-cum demonstration in the College campus on 17th April, 2009, from
10:00
am to 1:00 p.m. on preparing vermicompost using organic waste. Learning
vermicompost preparations is no longer difficult. Get away with your house
hold
waste. Registration fee is Rs.100/- only.
(2) A workshop on "Organic Farming and Horticulture using EM, on 15th April,
2009,
from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. in the college campus. Participants will be taught
to use
EM culture for various household purposes and to convert domestic waste into
biofertilizers which can be used for organic farming and horticulture.
Registration
fee is Rs.100/- only.
