America has been adept at using foreign countries and issues to distract itself and the world.? Now the latest issue brewing is Iran's nuclear program. When will be stop using foreign countries and foreign issues as a distraction to solve our own pressing problems?? This is nothing new.? We have done it since World War II, calling it the Cold War, Communist threat, etc. Mario observes: Since the premise used above, that America is using Iran's nuclear program to distract itself from other issues that are more important in Gilbert's worm's eye view of the world, is bogus, the rest of this analysis makes no sense either. Even the rookie president Obama and his teleprompter are capable of dealing with both issues at the same time, and no one other than Gilbert seems to be distracted. Apparently, like Neville Chamberlain before him thought a tyrant like Hitler could be trusted and meant no real harm, and millions died as a result, Gilbert seems blind to the tyrant who oppressed millions of innocent Muslims in Iraq, and the Communists who threatened the rest of the world with domination and were thwarted by the Cold War.
