Mario observes:

To begin with Goanetters who are not under conscious sedation would have
already marveled at the ability of three US Navy Seals to each kill with a
single shot three thugs with AK-47s who were on an 18ft. boat bobbing in the
Arabian sea from the back of a ship that was also moving, that too, at night.
One miss and the hostage would have surely been killed. This is marksmanship
of the highest order for most people but apparently just a day at the office
for a Navy Seal, and other targets should beware.

Secondly, Gilbert seems to be obsessed by Rush Limbaugh, a popular talk show
host, even though we know from his comments that he does not listen to Mr.
Limbaugh's show and gets his information from Mr. Limbaugh's political
opponents. However, here is another opinion about Obama's involvement which
has nothing to do with Rush Limbaugh:

Just recently Gilbert wrote:

Excerpt:

The technique of demagoguery (commonly used on Goanet) usually is: Create a
straw man with a few false statements / assumptions. Then tear it down, while
sounding intellectual and articulate. The demagogues consider this as a
win-win situation, and a no brainer.. Now the discussion become a vicious
circle. None of this is personal or directed at any one in particular.

Those engaged in demagoguery, should not feel bad. They do provide a service
to other goanetters, not as educators but in providing us some 'laffs'.

In his comments above, Gilbert provides us with an example of his own
demagoguery, when he constructs a straw man using a wild assumption he has no
way of justifying, then uses this to tear down his Republican bogeymen when he
writes, "Few far right wing Republicans, who follow Rush Limbaugh, MAY be
sulking at the success occurring under President Obama's watch."

Yes, demagogues like Gilbert provide us with "laffs" for sure:-))

Just a few days ago, this is what Gilbert said this about President Obama:

http://lists.goanet.org/pipermail/goanet-goanet.org/2009-April/176382.html

Excerpt:

America has been adept at using foreign countries and issues to distract itself
and the world. Now the latest issue brewing is Iran's nuclear program.
[end of excerpt]

I wonder why Gilbert did not accuse Obama of taking five days to rescue the
Captian from a bunch of teenage Somali thugs pretending to be pirates so as to
distract everyone from his lurch towards socialism.

Oh, I get it! It is Gilbert who wants to use demagoguery to distract from
Obama's lurch towards socialism:-))
