Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, and helped to make the MEHRAN RESTAURANT fundraiser on Easter Sunday a grand success. A packed hall enjoyed a great Goan/Indian lunch and DJ music, all for a good cause - to support two non-profits, Spoorthi and Goa Sudharop. Inspite of the recession and financial situation, attendees were very generous. In the interest of transparency and public accountability, here is the total raised at the event: $5,220 (Spoorthi $2,065, Goa Sudharop $3,155).
