Mario reponds: As the only real voice on Goanet for reason, truth and peace, I am shocked by Marshall's claim that someone called Shantidoot was "threatened and intimidated" by some un-named person or persons. To begin with, why was this person posting under a nom de plume like Shantidoot? I thought these were discouraged on Goanet, and I personally think it is cowardly for members to try and hide their identities in such a forum. However, I would defer to the moderators to follow the rules on this issue. In the absence of any specifics such a generalized claim about an anonymous poster being threatened and intimidated by anonymous persons sounds like poppycock and a baseless victimhood ploy to garner sympathy. I would like to know who is threatening and intimidating whom, so that some remedial action can be organized. Please let me know privately if necessary. Such goondagiri cannot be allowed to stand and I feel certain that the moderators and most Goanet members will join me in stamping it out.
