Epitacio Pais was a Primary School teacher. I believe he used to write for the
O Heraldo. I am not to sure if his name is listed on the Dicionario Goesa. A
list which shows a plethora Goans with various talents before the invasion.
Besides Pais, there were many Goans who were good writers one of them was
Amadeu Prazeres of Orlim and editor of the O Heraldo.

Post 61 saw the cultural genocide of the Portuguese language by the current
rulers. The language issue is chaotic, leading to various divisions in Goan
society.

All the former Portuguese ruled countries use Portuguese as their primary
language with the commercial intervention of English in some cases. The group
is called ACOLOP and are vigorously involved in trade and commerce.

Where is Goa?

Is anyone here familiar with the work of Epitacio Pais, whom Dr Jose
Pereira terms "one of Goa's best writers in Portuguese". Rgds, FN
