I dont see where Marshall indicated that Shantidoot was threatened by "un-named person or persons". I think this is an example of Bosco shooting his mouth off before reading an entire post. I am beginning to learn that a Goanetter has been silenced by someone's threats and intimidation while the Goanet administration has done nothing about it, and it took ME, as the only real voice of reason, truth and peace, to drag this information out into the open after George's inquiry led Marshall to expose it. However, Marshall failed to mention any specifics, which makes this disclosure useless for taking any action. I find it mind-boggling that the administrators would let such goondagiri to prevail. Why are the many resolute verbal warriors that populate Goanet on this issue? Why the deafening silence in the face of this travesty? Where are all those "freedom fighters" vowing to clean up Goa when they studiously avoid cleaning up Goanet from such puerile goondagiri? Vulgar language by itself does not constitute a threat, though it may intimidate a sensitive soul, which sounds like someone who would use Shanti in his pseudonym. There are some Goanetters, past and present, who tried the same stunts with me. Of course, using vulgar language with someone who grew up in Jabalpur is akin to committing verbal suicide, which is why we don't hear from some of them on Goanet anymore. With the Anglo-Indians on one side and the RSS on the other, no one has the breadth and depth or creativity of invective in both Queen's English and Shudh Hindi than someone from Jabalpur. Fortunately for civilization, we mostly keep our arsenal safely secured, unless we need it for self-defense or to keep the peace, then it can be like a shot fired by a US Navy Seal sniper from the back of a warship:-)) Having said that, Shantidoot, whom you think is someone'e real name, could have used his spam filter to block off such cyber-attacks. If actual public defamation takes place legal action is an option, especially if the attacker is in western Europe or N. America, where malicious defamation has severe consequences. I would seriously urge Shantidoot, whom Fred thinks is a real name, to contact me privately, especially now that Bosco has disclosed that his abuser if a friend on one of my antagonists, and I will personally help him through this while maintaining his anonymity - at least until I can pursuade him to come out of hiding on his own. As an American as well as the only voice on Goanet for reason, truth and peace, I will not let anyone be forcibly silenced on Goanet regardless of whether they agree with me or not.
