Mhaka Kiteak Podlam? - Hugely disappointing!
Starring : Antonett De Maina, Roshan, Ullas Tari, Peter, Victor, Tony, Baba Maythan, Roseferns & comedians Sally, Seby and Brian. Rating: * (Out of 5) Roseferns (King of Centuries) and his troupe staged his latest drama 'Mhaka Kiteak Podlam' at the open Air Al Nasr Leisureland poolside, Dubai on 16/04/209. I'm sorry to say that this drama is hugely disappointing. After giving so many hit dramas I think this is the worst drama I have ever seen from the mighty pen of Mr. Roseferns. The director could've come up with a good script. The writing takes a complete backseat, he has decided to take the viewer for granted, but what comes across is so boring and tedious that you actually want to make a hasty exit from the auditorium. Acting front Roshan is good. Antonett suits her role. Peter-de- Benaulim is wasted. Rosefern’s doesn't work. Victor has nothing to do. Tari is okay. The only thing you perhaps remember is the performances by 5 year old Baba Maythan. If I’m not mistaken he was the main singer of the tiatr. Forget laughing, one doesn't even smile in most parts of this drama. The jokes of comedians Sally, Seby and Brian are non-appealing and at times, crass. Just don’t even dare to think of wasting your precious time, money and energy on this one. On the whole, Mhaka Kiteak Podlam? is a poor show all the way. Hugely disappointing! Frankie.
