In defence of Fr Ivo & my/his views on homeopathy. Life is too short for me to pick through every point made by Mario, Santosh, etc. They may have perfect arguments but I doubt it.
With an older and younger men friends who have similarly rigid "scientific" opinions as the above-named, We agree to disagree. Our ability to do so strengthens mutual respect and affection. We may poke gentle fun at one another but we have no wish to overwhelm each other with facts, fiction, science or religion. Harmony is the name of our game. Scientific dogma has no appeal for me. If I may misquote TS Eliot: "Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge? Where is the knowledge we have lost in information" TECHNOLOGY/JARGON/RHETORIC/SCIENTIFIC DISPUTES? TS Eliot is still revered for saying in a few words what others cannot communicate in reams: "By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter." "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."
