2009/4/18 Aires Rodrigues <[email protected]>: [1] My vote is no secret. It would deservedly go to Mr. Sripad Naik who hails from my village. A very sincere, humble and accessible person who has reached out to the people at all times.
[2] If I had to reside in the South my lawyer colleague, the talented down to earth Mr. Narendra Savoikar would have been my unanimous choice. [3] Francisco Sardinha’s involvement in the Marks scandal == response: I do not trust politicians in general - mainly because trustworthy individuals do not get elected. A classic example is - Tony Correia Afonso from Benaulim. The people from Benaulin KNOW that Tony is trustworthy, honest and capable. BUT, Tony will never get elected from Benaulim. He, unfortunately, is too honest for the corrupt people who vote. Even so I wish Mr Naik and Mr Savoikar well. I do suggest however that Aires has a very poor record of supporting losing candidates. About scandals, I'd say this: He who lives in glass house - should not throw stones at others. jc
