I've just heard that Er. A.P.Remedios died of cancer 3 days ago. My heartfelt sympathies to his family.
This is a great loss to the civil engineering fraternity. Many of us may remember our practical training with him on construction sites. (Institution of Civil Engineers, London); Indian Standards Institution: Concrete Sub-Committee BDC:2.2 ; Indian Roads Congress: Bridge Bearings Committee Since 1971, he has provided Construction Consultancy Services, Trouble Shooting and Practical Training to Central & State Government Departments and Undertakings; Contractors; to Builders & Developers; and Private Parties; to Structural Consulting Engineers; to Architects; etc. A.P. Remedios can truly be called the Consultants’ Consultant and even the Trainers’ Trainer. =================
