Mario responds: To those who took umbrage at JGR's comments, which I think she wrote rhetorically, and not literally, I say, "Please consider the source and the fact that prophets are rarely acknowledged in their own time.":-)) What she really meant is, "Why makes this guy the consistent voice of reason, truth and peace on Goanet and a thorn in the side of the fact-free and the illogical"??? Just kidding, JGR:-)) After all my carefully crafted mini-dissertations, JGR even thought I was an atheist! There is only so much one can do, even a patient voice of reason, truth and peace like myself:-)) Besides, there was an authority whom I will differ to who said under far more trying circumstances, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do!" These are excellent words to live by. I believe that even clear thinking atheists will acknowledge this man's consistent humanity and common sense, even if they do not believe he was the Son of God.
