Sorry, I saw the last two mails on subj only now as I was bsuuy whole day and whole last night. Well, JoeGoaUk is neither after money nor gifts (nor votes for that matter) ‘Mhojea passot bestte zogodd nakat re’ Ok, if at all some one manage to collect on his behalf, does anybody have his forwarding address or for that matter his bank a/c ? If he was after money, he could easily had his own website posting all his pics & video there thus earning revenue from the commercial ads or from the Google ads Fyi, two payments are still waiting for collecting Cheque Rs.500 each from two different parties who he does not even know nor he ever asked for it (money). All they did was asked his permission to use one or two photos (one from last year’s Shirgao Zatra Pics). As for awards, I think I said it before, there were two proposals but he has refused. How can a nameless person receive awards? Are Gomkara, it’s not the money or gifts he is after.. Sometimes he feels, what he really really wants he never gets. He always say when he quietly disappears from the net, there would be many many posts remembering or enquiring about him and it would be like ‘plenty of flowers/wreaths over a dead body’ When recently, he received a shocking mail from another Goemkar saying ‘JoeGoaUk is shamelessly drawing on the goodwill of goan producers for free..” Ref to a video clip of a Goan Band ‘Purple Rain’ which I have uploaded (mail did not come from the Band). That’s when he felt as if he was in hospital. And That’s when he really needed your flowers That’s when he really needed Your mails That’s when he really needed Your good wishes But very very few came back, he could count them on his one set of figures (without using his other set from other hand) Your silence made him to think may be, yes may be, you too think that way i.e. shamelessly drawing.. JoeGoaUk may be nameless but he is not heartless Show will go on for as long as it takes. Because he is doing what he always wanted to do. He will quietly disappear from the scene when his money runs out or due to ill health or due to sudden death. He will not take with him his hard earned net legacies. It will remain there for you and for the future generations.
