Just this morning I ran into Shekar in Ponda, who is widely regarded as the
Goan with the largest brain, measuring one-and-one-third brain. He would like
to know what scale Gilbert uses to measures brains. He is concerned that
Gilbert uses some cheating goldsmith's scale, where the actual is always less
than stated. Hence, half-a-brain may actually be eight-tenth of a brain.
Shekar's sister, Sonia, is curious if Gilbert is confused about hyphenated
words like half-brain. Does Gilbert believe a cat-fish is a cat? Does he think
a piggy-bank is a little pig?  Does he think chicken-soup is a chicken or a
soup?

Shekar's dad likes Gilbert's idea of "go and celebrate" especially in India but
is worried about the global warming implication of flying to three locations.
Would it not be better to rather spend 3 months in one location?  Or at least
three locations next to each other? He suggested a month in Ponda, a month in
Valpoi and a month in Bicholim, not exactly next to each other but close enough
for Frank, the nine-tenth of a brain motor-cycle taxi guy to take him around.
