Believe me or not! I thought Vanxim is somewhere near Arambol. I only found out on the net that it is near Divar islands. As you know, I like to travell/visit every corner of inhabited Goa but the coverage that I have acheived so far, I think, is not even 50% Goa so small on the Map yet I think I will never be able to explore Goa fully during my life time. ===== Feast of St. Crist (Saint Christ?) at Vanxim, Goa. Vanxim (Also, Ille de Capao) is an Island near Divar. Vanxim is a small island may be the smallest with about 95 Catholics but on the feast day mass there were about 175 In order to reach there, one has to take two ferries. >From Vanxim Ferry, it’s about 15 minutes walk to the church/centre. No public transport available to Vanxim. Motor cycle Pilot would charge Rs.100 o/w from Old-Goa Ghandhi Circle to Vanxim. >From Divar (north) to Vanxim there is a ferry service every 30 minutes. Ok, let’s go to Vanxim from Old Goa.
