Recently i missed the connecting flight In Paris at Charles De Gaulle
airport inspite of reaching in time from my original destination and
having the boarding pass. I had never faced such a situation before.
The transfer from the landing site and in between the terminals was
very slow. The worst was the security check for the transit
passengers.which i found very starge.Thanks to our Jihadists,Security
checks are becoming a nightmare now. It took almost an hour and i found
it strange and frustrating. The staff was taking its own time and cared
a damn about the passengers rushing for the connecting flight.
Some of us were given proper accomodation and I made most of the French
Food. But some of the Indians who were holding Student Visas were kept
overnight in the Airport and i could not believe it.
What made me angry was, whilst coming back from Bombay to Paris. I
found two cops standing at the doorway, as soon as we diembarked from
the plane and checking passport of every Indian. I found it racist as
they were targetting only black and brown colored. I had to catch my
onwards flight and i was in no mood to miss my connection.I rushed out
of the que and told the cop that i have the next flight to catch and i
dont want to be stranded in Paris and just shot off.
This was my second bad experience in France and vowed never to transit
via France. I have already written a complain to Air France. I told my
Travel agent not to book any Asians or Colored on Air France and have
been advising all friends i know not to use Air France and avoid
transiting through Paris. I find Luftansa,KLM as better airlines to use
if one has to take an Indirect flight.
