Hartman, I checked. There is no publicly traded company called Vedanta Resources. When this is the case, the company usually consists of a bunch of buddies who go into third world countries, bribe some govt officials, get all the permits for a mine and then sell the property to a multi-national when it is clear that there is no opposition to their intentions.
I see it happen in East and Central Africa all the time.
